Tango Main

Q: How should my music be organized to view correctly in Tango

A: Your music should be stored in an Artist folder, then the album in a sub folder. When Tango scans your music, it looks for an mp3 file, once it finds one, it takes that directory name as the album and moves one level up for the artist name

Q: What resolution should I set my TV/Touch screen to view Tango correctly

A: Tango is designed to run at 640x480

Q: How many songs does Tango support

A: As many as you can load into it

Q: Where should I store the album cover images to show correctly in Tango

A: Each album cover image should be located in the specific album directory, i.e. in the case above, the cover for Another 700 miles would be located in the Another 700 Miles directory

Q: What type of images can I use for the album covers

A: Tango will take both JPEG and GIF images

Q: What type of digital music files can be used with Tango

A: Currently only the MP3 format is supported, but work is underway to support additional types

Q: In the preferences screen in Tango, it states "Show Delete Buttons", what does this mean

A: The delete buttons will allow you to remove artists, albums, or specific songs from the Tango database. Tango will not delete the actual music files, that choice will be left up to you

Q: Where do I get the Album covers

A: You can scan your CD covers, there are a variety of web sites that have album covers, i.e. Amazon, or you could use the Album Cover Locator application, located here

Q: How to I navigate inside of Tango

A: In most views the up and down buttons located on the right hand side of the screen will go to the next album or artist
